Explore the heart of Rent a boat at Pean and you can be in Akkrum, Grou or Irnsum in no time. In a weekend, you can easily sail to Sneek, Langweer or Earnewoude. If you have a little more time, or maybe help from an engine, then it’s easy to reach the IJsselmeer or head towards Drenthe and the other side of Friesland. Sail through nature reserves, between birds and reeds, or visit quaint little villages and take in the local culture. It’s all possible when renting a boat from Pean. Remember! You’ll have to navigate bridges on some of the routes. You can sail under them in your motorboat or if you lower the mast on your sailing boat. If you want to sail without lowering the mast, check out the opening times for the bridges on your route in Friesland.
