You really feel you have got away from it all in this house, not just on the terrace but also in the house itself. That’s because of all the windows, the great views and because it’s right on the water’s edge. It’s fully equipped so as to make your stay as pleasant as possible, and on chilly evenings, you can snuggle up around the wood burner. Suitable for a family of four, or two couples, water lodge Sweltsje is the perfect holiday home. If you rent this lodge and water lodge Ljurk, you have space for 8 people in your own little corner of the park.

Characteristics

The kitchen is fully fitted, and the dining table is in the centre of the house. The living area is slightly separated from the kitchen and has a raised floor. Naturally, the lodge is well insulated and there is additional heating for on cold days. Behind the kitchen, the hallway leads to two bedrooms and the sanitary facilities. The bathroom has a shower and sink unit, and there is a separate toilet.

Where is it located?

The Sweltsje is on the north-east side of Pean-buiten and has a sheltered terrace. It’s highlighted on the map in the slideshow above. You’ll hardly notice the guests in the other houses at Pean-buiten when you’re in the Sweltsje. This house is for real peace seekers and is in a very special part of Pean-buiten.

What does it look like inside?

There are 2 bedrooms in the coolest part of the house, both with a double bed that can be separated into two singles. The (single) beds are Swiss Sense leather-look box springs (2.10 long and 0.90 wide). All beds are fitted with single duvets, pillows with protective covers and flannel bed sheet. Bed linen is available for rent from Pean-buiten, but you can also bring your own.

The bathroom has a shower and double sink unit, and there is a separate toilet.

What does it look like on the inside?

There’s an outdoor lounge seat and a table for 4 on the terrace so you have a choice of seating. Outside lighting makes it cosy on the terrace well into the evening.
